Curriculum
Rotations are focused on emergency medicine with specialty rotations selected by the fellow. The program offers three positions each academic year. Fellows work 15-16 shifts per month in the emergency department while completing rotations and teaching family medicine residents in clinic.
Unique aspects of the fellowship program include:
- Extensive ultrasound training
- Procedural workshops
- Emergency medicine didactics
- Critical care didactics
- Critical care certification course (FCCS)
- Teaching family medicine residents and students
- Moonlighting opportunities (internal and external)
- Quality improvement project
- Involvement in hospital committees
Fellows have access to educational resources including Rosh Review, EM RAP and Access Emergency Medicine.
