Good Samaritan Regional EMS System
Established in 1979, the Good Samaritan Regional EMS System provides medical oversight for advanced life support and basic life support transport and non-transport agencies in Jefferson, Marion, Franklin, Washington, Perry, Crawford, Fayette, Clay, Effingham, Clinton, Hamilton, Wayne, Williamson, Pulaski, Massac and Saline County. The Good Samaritan Regional EMS System is located in E.M.S. Region five as established by the Illinois Department of Public Health. EMS personnel within the Good Samaritan Regional EMS System operate under direct medical control and standing medical orders.
