SSM Health Monroe Hospital

SSM

At SSM Health Monroe Hospital, a state-of-the-art, 58-bed facility built in 2012, our goal is to serve the community and play an active role in it. From pediatrics to senior health, we take the time to listen and understand the needs of all our patients. We consistently offer the latest advances in medical services through individualized patient treatment. The inpatient and intensive care departments are staffed by a team of nine hospitalists and average approximately 2,000 inpatient admissions per year. Our Family Birth Suites offer seven labor-delivery-recovery (LDR) suites, five medical/surgical rooms and its own operating room. SSM Health Monroe Hospital averages 475 births per year.

An added level of intensive and direct patient care offered at SSM Health Monroe Hospital is e-ICU. By adding e-ICU capabilities, bedside nurses and doctors are supported by and can collaborate with experts at UW Health to enhance patient outcomes and help eliminate future health problems.

Other departments housed in our hospital building include the surgical services, cardiology, physical therapy, medical imaging and emergency services.
