Aquatic Therapy
with SSM Health Monroe Clinic Medical Group
Aquatic therapy is a specialized form of physical or occupational therapy, where treatments and exercises are performed in water for relaxation, fitness, physical rehabilitation, and other therapeutic benefits. Aquatic therapy can be used, even if a patient does not know how to swim. Patients can perform each exercise while standing in the water, holding onto the side of the pool, or using a flotation device. Aquatic therapy is done at the Green County Family YMCA. Scheduling is done through SSM Health Monroe Clinic Medical Group.
