Podiatric Residency Application Process
How to Apply
The SSM Health DePaul Hospital – - St. Louis Residency Program (PMSR-RRA) is fully accredited by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME). Five residents are accepted each year. All applications must be submitted through the Central Application Service for Podiatric Residencies (CASPR). Please visit the American Colleges of Podiatric medicine Application Service website. The programs will accepts applications for residency up until the deadline date.
Upon receipt of the application, the residency director will review the applications and provide a timely response. The program participates in the Central Regional Interview Program (CRIP).
Applicant Overview
Students from all colleges of podiatric medicine are welcome to apply. An applicant who is interested in our program will have completed part Part 1 and part Part 2 of the NBPME board examination. An externship is not required but does help in the selection progress. The residency program director will review academic records and any letters of recommendation submitted. Candidates are interviewed by the residency selection committee, that which includes the program directors, current residents and administrative staff.
