Salary

Time Off

PGY–I Residents
208 hours annually inclusive of vacation, sick leave, and Holidays.

PGY-II, PGY-III, PG-IV and PG-V Residents
208 hours annually inclusive of vacation, sick leave, CME, and Holidays.

Meals

$1,500 will be given at the beginning of each academic year per resident to help off-set the cost for meals while working. The $1,500 will be taxed accordingly.

Continuing Medical Education

Orthopedic Residents will receive $1,500 per academic year to attend educational programs. The $1,500 will be taxed accordingly.

Professional Liability Insurance

Residents are provided with Professional Liability Insurance coverage ($1 million/ $3 million) during the performance of their contractual duties.

Health Insurance

Health, dental, and vision coverage must be purchased by the resident. We have several options to choose from. A form will be provided to inform you of all the options available.

Disability and Life Insurance

Disability and life insurance are provided at no charge.

Paid Certification Courses

• Basic Life Support
• Advanced Trauma Life Support

Relocation Expense

Up to $500 will be reimbursed for moves from outside the Oklahoma City metro area upon receipts.

Moonlighting

Moonlighting is allowed for PGY-II through PGY-V residents with prior approval. In-house moonlighting opportunities are available.

YMCA Membership

Special rates for Saints employees. Family membership is $13.11 per pay period.

Lab Coats

3 monogrammed lab coats will be provided at the beginning of your first year.

Miscellaneous

Housing

Housing may be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Often, our residents or hospital staff will house students. Local hotels and apartments are available too. Please contact Melinda Garza, if you need help with housing for a reasonable fee.
