Welcome to SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Oklahoma City Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program. Our mission is to provide exceptional care with compassion to our patients and each other.

The practice of OB/GYN allows us to care for patients at some of the most joyful and vulnerable times in their lives. It is a privilege and profound responsibility to help our patients improve their reproductive health and cope with complex pregnancies, infertility, gynecologic disease, and cancer.

Our training program is rigorous and requires focus and commitment. Our residents and faculty are a diverse group of professionals who celebrate our unique contributions. We will encourage and challenge you to become the best OB/GYN physician you can be and to find the career path that best fits your passions and abilities.

St. Anthony has been serving patients in Oklahoma City since its founding in 1898. We are located in Midtown, a revitalized community including vibrant restaurants and cultural activities. Oklahoma City offers an affordable cost of living, exciting food scene, college, and professional sports and outdoor activities.

Some unique opportunities in our program include:

• Quarterly simulation days to practice skills in a supportive environment
• High surgical volume allows graduates to operate independently directly out of residency
• Extensive exposure to private practice, so transition to life as an attending is more seamless

After four years in our program, our residents have experienced the full breadth of our specialty, including low and high-risk obstetrics, extensive gynecologic surgery, and an introduction to each sub-specialty. After graduation, our residents pursue private or faculty practice as OB/GYN generalists or continue on to sub-specialty training.
