Visitor Guidelines
- SSM Health has discontinued its universal masking policy.
- Masks are no longer required, with the exception of those who have known or suspected COVID-19 or other upper respiratory symptoms.
- Patients will continue to be screened for upper respiratory symptoms, and masks will be provided for those who need one.
- We support patients and visitors who choose to wear a mask.
Additional hospital visitor guidelines:
- Patients who are COVID-19 positive, presumptive positive, or under investigation for a COVID infection may have visitors. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required. Please check in with nursing staff before entering the room.
- COVID-19 screening questions will be asked at patient registration or upon emergency room arrival.
